Orchard City is located in central Delta County, 9 miles north west of Delta. Consisting of three smaller communities, Austin, Cory and Eckert. In the early part of the 20th Century area residents incorporated Orchard City to provide safer drinking water to the area. Incorporating in 1912, Orchard City is best identified today by the three smaller communities that form the municipality.
