As part Ski Joring America, Western Style Ski Jouring, Ridgway County Fair Grounds is hosting the competition.
Equestrian Ski Joring requires a team of a horse and rider pulling a person on skis by a tow rope. Hanging on to the rope through an race course with jumps and bumps, the skier navigates the competition course.
