Delta Health Welcomes New Chief Operating Officer

Delta, CO (November 8, 2023) – Delta Health is excited to welcome Jonathan Cohee as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). With an impressive 27-year background in the healthcare industry, Delta Health is optimistic that Jonathan will lead their team towards great success.

Jonathan will succeed recently retired Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), Jody Roeber. In this newly established position, Jonathan Cohee will be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for overseeing and implementing the daily operations strategy for the entire organization. His duties include developing strategic plans to improve quality of care, generate revenue, and accomplish organizational objectives, analyzing budgets and financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings, and streamlining operations and managing resource allocation within departments.

“Cohee’s expertise, passion, and dedication will undoubtedly strengthen our team and enhance the quality of care we provide to our community,” said Julie Huffman, Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Legal Officer.

Jonathan holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy. As President and Chief Operating Officer, he oversaw a national outpatient therapy provider network and a managed care physical therapy carve-out program. Jonathan’s background in optimization operations of nine hospitals across multiple states, spearheading bundled payment initiatives. He established and expanded ten hospital rehabilitation services, outpatient clinics, a wound care clinic, a home health care company, and a hospice program.

Cohee is also a published author and co-authored the book “Mission Matters: Business Leaders (Vol. 9, Ed. 2)” which delves into effective business leadership in today’s dynamic environment.

Jonathan and his wife Stefanie have chosen to become a part of the Delta County community after spending the last ten years in vibrant downtown Chicago. Stefanie is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience ranging from bedside care across various levels of healthcare to executive nursing positions. She is currently pursuing her certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

Outside of their professional commitments, Jonathan and Stefanie have built a beautiful blended family of four children and two grandchildren. Adding to their loving household is their adorable miniature schnauzer named Addison. While Jonathan grew up in central Michigan, Stefanie hails from Northern Ohio. Together, they find joy and fulfillment in activities such as running, biking, skiing, pickleball, tennis, and golf.
